For Ashley and Yushi’s intimate micro wedding at Indigo House, I served as their Month-Of Coordinator, stepping in during the final weeks to ensure their thoughtfully planned day unfolded seamlessly. Set against the fog-covered Blue Ridge Mountains on a rainy May evening, their celebration felt like a romantic dinner party shared among their closest loved ones. Inspired by Studio Ghibli’s Whisper of the Heart and traditional Japanese artistry, the design blended whimsical romance with meaningful elements of Ikebana and Origami in a palette of burgundy, mauve, lavender, sage, pink, and cream. The result was a cozy, intentional celebration that beautifully honored both their love story and heritage.
